Thank You

I am supposed to be studying but I just couldn't get anything into my head. So I decided to take a break to blog.
Thank you...simple words yet they mean a lot, at least they are to me.

I still remember the day we got to know each other while waiting at the admission office 3 years back. It was his first day there, to register and enroll himself in this university. I took the initiative to introduce myself, and we became friends.

As time passed by, we hardly keep in touch with one another, each busy with our own lives and friends.

But I got a Thank You note from him one day, saying he was glad to know me and that he's graduating. To know that someone actually appreciates what you have done, that feeling was indescribable. It's great to know that you have actually made an impact on someone's life. And I've never expected to receive that.

I am happy that he still remembers me, even until the day he graduated.

Thank you for the note because you showed me what a friend truly meant and how certain things do make a difference in others' lives.
