New journey

Was awake for the whole night... a sign of caffeine overdose from the coffee perhaps?

Since I couldn't sleep, I decided to join mom and dad for breakfast on a rainy morning. Lovely weather, and yet I couldn't fall asleep.

I can't believe that one month had passed by just like that. It's been a great month idling my time away at home, hanging out with friends and spending quality moments with my family.

Holiday is coming to an end which means it's time to face reality. A new chapter of life is awaiting to be discovered. I will start my internship in 2 days (oh no, I'm joining the workforce-boy, am I getting old).

Gone were those days of late-night outs, the silly things that I do with friends and stressing ourselves out during exams. Well, everything comes and goes.

I could neither imagine nor predict what lies ahead of me. A future full of possibilities and uncertainties. I don't know where I would see myself 5 years from now (I tend to think too far away, don't I?)

All I know is I want to learn as much as I could, keep my spirit up and have a wonderful and memorable journey. Am looking forward to the challenges waiting ahead of me.

I hope I can adapt to a life so different from now. After all, a month of holidays made me so pampered and lazy to do anything. =p

And yes, I still miss those days in university. But it is a past now, what remains are just memories that I will cherish.

I miss running at the tracks in campus...
