There you are, standing right in front of me
and yet I don't know what to say...
Have you ever felt that way?
It felt weird
because I have so much to say
yet the words just won't come out.
Is it because of a hard day?
Or was it because I have given up on hope
and learn to embrace my life as it is,
not hoping for more
and settling for complacency.
Whatever it is
life goes on
and as far as I know
each day will get better
if I am positive enough.
After all,
it's just another day of life,
just like any other ordinary day.
I want to be as cheerful as I used to be,
if you know me well,
you should know that I'm wearing a fake smile.
